Just in time for our hometown show at the Cutting Room (Friday March 4th at 7:30pm), here’s a new playlist for you guys. This one is a collection of my favorite musicians from the African Diaspora and the American artists they influenced. A lot of this is stuff I grew up listening to in my house: a lot of Fela Kuti and some artists associated with Paul Simon’s “Graceland” album, one band I’ve seen live in Park Slope, Brooklyn- the Mandingo Ambassadors, and more. I hope you dig it. I’ve got 28 days to figure out what I’ll do next! -JN

These initials take the cake. We are making waves, well TV waves that is… Here is our link to our first TV placement on MSG Network. We would like to thank Howie Singer, MSG Media, and the NY Liberty for making it happen. Go “Superhero Females!”
Superhero Female on MSG Network
Great news Sweet Little Bloodhound is shattering one glass ceiling of our own with our first official TV placement of “Superhero Female,” airing on TV this Friday 9/11/2015, so set your DVRs – it will air on the MSG network at 7:30pm, in NY that is channel 27. (if you live else where please use your guide to look it up) It will air between commercial segments of the NY Liberty Women’s Basketball game. We are so excited to have our song to promote such a wonderful team of athletes. Go Superhero Females! Let’s “shatter all glass ceilings” together. At least basketball players are closer to the ceiling 🙂 Tune in for a live broadcast of the airing on the SLB Indie Trailer podcast premiering at the end of September.
Good luck ladies! @NYLIberty
Sweet Little Bloodhound was excited to hit the road in August and visit with the local communities of Shelburne Falls and Heath, MA. We experienced our first Tractor and Truck Pull, we ate Maple Cream Fried Dough, and we sang to the spirits by the Potholes raging falls. It has been a picturesque season to say the least. Here are a few pics of us on the road. We are sure looking forward to our trip to Atlanta for the WomenInCharg3 Radio trip in September. We are nominated for “Album of The Year” and will be playing for the communities of Decatur – Atlanta at a block party and we will be whooping it up at a BBQ at Smoke Belly, so come by and say hi and dance a jig with us. Keep up with our antics on Social media at Devlin Miles of Sweet Little Bloodhound on Facebook and @SLBloodhound on Instagram and Twitter.
